Environmental Objectives

• Housekeeping - To improve housekeeping throughout the site.


• Waste - To continue to reduce levels of waste by applying the "Duty of Care" in all cases and to recover cost where appropriate by means of scrap analysis, by negotiations with suppliers/customers and by finding alternatives to landfill.


• Energy - To reduce energy consumption by improving personnel awareness and by the introduction of improved methods, plant and equipment.


• Product Design - To further extend the analysis of the content of our products using life cycle analysis and cleaner design techniques to reduce environmental impact.


• Environmental Profile - To seek to improve our environmental profile by the discreet publication, in an appropriate manner, of details of our environmental improvements/successes.
